INDIAN AUTO RICKSHAW CHALLENGE 2006 - DAY FIVE:

Day 5- Madurai to Tuticorin

Madurai to Tuticorin journey started with two rickshaws taking a wrong turn and entering NH7. They almost got lost before they were guided by the organizers. Otherwise it was a relatively smoother ride. The challenge tasks for the day were restricted to filling fuel alone at two stops

The Flag down was at the Tuticorin fishing harbour which in itself is quite popular. The day had an extra activity which was a visit to the Vann island at Tuticorin. The participants were taken to the island in a fishing boat. It was a ride which everyone enjoyed. It was when they were in boat they realized the team Aramageddon was missing and everyone was scared. After sufficient enquiries it was found that they had gone directly to the hotel.

Later that evening the participants were given a dinner by the Free Masons Tuticorin at the VVD Hall.
