Indian Autorickshaw Challenge is an event organized by many individuals in and out of India. This page gives and idea about the organizers who are behind success of Indian Autorickshaw Challenge.

INDIANARC Organizer Biographies:

Aravind :

Aravind is the Lead organizer of the Indian Autorickshaw Challenge. Aravind has conducted both on and off-site research, organization, and preparation. He has expertise in group and social work, direction, and currently works as a Marketing Director in a Budapest-based advertising company. Aravind is a fan of traveling, parties, and anything that involves a sense of fun and adventure.

Marika :

Marika is greatly devoted to the success of the Autorickshaw Challenge. She is a former participant of last year‘s rally who fell in love so much with the beauties of India and the excitement of the event that she decided to get more involved in the organization of the following events. She is responsible for the public relations. Marika is Russian, based in Budapest, where she studies acting at a prestigeus acting academy. She likes good red wines in nice ambiances, and meeting people and exploring new places.

Anna :

Anna has greatly contributed to the Indian Autorickshaw Challenge research, both on and off-site. She is the team's marketing representative and pays close attention to the organization and direction of the project. A native Hungarian, Anna currently studies international relations and political science at Corvinus University. She has played the violin for 13 years and has performed in various orchestras. Anna loves traveling and getting to know new cultures.

Sophie :

Camera in hand Sophie joins the team for the first time, bringing with her a passion for travel and a love of photography. As the team photographer she is dedicated to capturing the essence of the race and the experiences of all those involved. Londoner Sophie spent 8 years in the TV business and has recently hung up her producing hat to focus on her true passion, photography. She loves cider, marmite and is rarely without music.

Autorickshaw :

An autorickshaw (auto or rickshaw or tempo in popular parlance) is a vehicle usually for hire and is one of the chief modes of transport in India, Pakistan, Nepal, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka it is also popular in many other countries. It is a motorized version of the traditional rickshaw, a small two- or three-wheeled cart pulled by a person, and the velotaxi. The autorickshaw is also related to its Thai cousin, the tuk-tuk and the Bajaj in Indonesia. Some more ways this is called are auto rickshaw, auto-rickshaw, autorikshaw, auto rikshaw, auto-rikshaw.
